This is the story of the first guy from Trinidad I met. So he was in the Army with me in basic training. This guy was a real jerk. He constantly talked shit and would get the whole platoon in trouble. One day after the 100th time of him making us do pushups our Drill Sergeant came up to him, knowing he's always the cause, and said boy you better shut the fuck up or I'm gonna beat your ass and be your Trinidaddy. Now you would think he would be scared or at least be serious, but this boy started laughing so hard. Then the Drill Sergeant started laughing. Then we all laughed. From that day he shaped up and turned out to be a nice guy. That's my story!

I am posting this farewell message on behalf of Zaya and Wolfy. Both were long time senior and high staff whom sadly has retired from Evolution warfare for their own and personal reasons and will be no longer be able to staff this community. I have an enormous amount of respect for both as I'm sure all of you do; so while their dedication and expertise will be sadly missed, I on behalf of the evolution staff team hope and trust they would excel in his their non-evolution gaming career and life as they have done here. Please join me in thanking them for their hard work and service. Sadly, some things come to an end, and they're going to be parting ways with us. The first one would be casual gamers/members/admins who just want to hang out and play and have a good time. These would be members wearing the EvoluTion clan tag. The second group - prestige and elite clan members who would wear the evolution ‘clan tag. (Requirements would be strictly 1.25KD and higher ratio for this group). We establish that there are applicants who want to apply for membership/server admin but don’t meet the requirement, In retrospect, we need more admins to patrol the servers. There is more traffic coming towards the servers and its getting more popular, therefore we need more admins. Our community is small only a few are accepted as member/admin. Take a glimpse of how many denied applicants there are. These are always subject to change based on your feedback so I need to know. Staffing is hard work. Every staff member on this community we ask for volunteers at least a few mins a day to help clear screenshots. While unpaid, Gilly and I pay out of own pockets renting the servers/paying for the website and try our best to keep things functional and running, it is in essence a second job. We do it for you guys our incredible and it's worth every single second. Tonight I wanted to let you guys know that there will now be some few important requirements to be part of this community. Firstly, you guys need to help clear screenshots whenever you can. If you want access, msg me or Gilly and we would get you setup. Secondly, be active on discord and on the website and help out in whatever possible way you can, help us keep the forums alive. Today I connected on a hidden alias and only noticed @Aditya (Known as President) amongst other admins wearing his clan tag. Members who are are not wearing their clan tags in the server, sooner or later their admin would be removed/lowered. For the new and for the old members, if you want to rank up you need to earn it not sit and watch the sky wondering when your admin would be upgraded. Being only active on the server alone will take you probably 100x times longer to rank up. Take notes from one of the most outstanding members atm @taraj he came from 0 to where his at now, for his incredible actions, help and generosity for this clan. @Aditya has also mostly stayed out of the spot light. Please congratulate both members taraj and President on their promotions today. Wrapping this up, we were recently encountering a few issues with our b3 and it seems to be sorted out now. In addition, admins will now be able to ban and permban via their phone with some new software the community has now in place. As many of you noticed, we had some instability lately (Trinidad Servers, Website downtime and Canadian server, database problems etc.) and I'd like to take this opportunity to explain our situation and how we're going to move forward. As the elephant is out in the open now, the Trinidad servers have been down since the start of 2019. Yes I heard your questions everyday “What happened to the Trinidad servers??? Why are they down???” I didn’t really give a clear update because I was worried to say that the Trinidad Servers may take a VERY long time to fix or if not ever. So in a nutshell, there was an electrical power issue due to a power outage and as a result, some hardware damage occurred to the machine which hosted the Trinidad Servers. Best as we try, things don't always work out how we hope. Will the servers be back? Unfortunately, not right now, not anytime soon. It can be fixed, fear not but after a long time contemplating, the word evolution has many stages, and as time changes we must adapt to changes. Luckily, we have planned ahead and had a few tricks up our sleeve. But wait, it gets better from here. How are we going to move forward? We officially deployed a MIAMI server and we need your help to fuel and get it running. Change is scary and I find great comfort in having support from @Gilly and watching over and over in different occasions in how he waved his magic wand in improving EvoluTion Warfare. Again I've been inspired on how much he was there to support and did so many truly miraculous things helping me throughout my struggles. Everyone of you know, @Gilly has been around since the birth of this gaming community and I’m grateful to have him as a Founder+Leader. So please give him a thanks for all his hard work in helping me getting this Miami server up and running. Fellow gamers; As you guys know the summer vacation has almost come to an end, and most of you will be going back to school, taking up further studies in your respective fields of interest, starting into the world of work, and so on. I’d like to give a special welcome to some of our newest soldiers that have been recruited and successfully made it past the trial process, it’s a pleasure of having you guys on our side and hope you guys enjoy your stay, and most of all have fun! How can we end our summer break without having a special summer tournament? Would be crazy right? But gladly we are here to make sure y’all have a fun and enjoyable tourney before school reopens. madARA is a guy I had the luck to play 4-5 matches with him in my team. It was the easiest matches I ever played.

I couldn't help but notice that many players complain when crossfire is played on the server. I think this happens due to the fact that it is indeed an incredibly difficult map especially for smgs since their purpose is to mainly rush. This is a video from a player called phantasy with many tips and things to do on promod. He was a really good player. I hope that this video will help you get better. If the feedback is good,I will take time to post more topics on different maps, tactics etc for you.

All these years later, our meticulous members continue to curate, discuss, and passionately value everything that we try to provide. You, the community, alongside a myriad of passionate members have established a team and family that we didn’t know would exist in these years to come... EvoluTion [MIAMI] Scrim Server is ONLINE for private scrims, tournaments and pugs between teams on Server IP: 207.246.78.120:28965 Note that this server is running on pml220_ne with Promod mode match_mr10 enabled, which means 5v5 teams with 10 total rounds., a limit of one sniper per team, and other classes. Also FPS, Fullbright, UAV or Enemy Compass, FOV is disabled by default. In addition, friendly fire is ENABLED making it a fully competitive mod. B3 is also installed on this server, which means there’s no need for RCON as clients with given permission can change the map using the bot. B3 is installed on a separate database apart from all EvoluTion Public Servers, meaning, admins on this scrim server are not necessarily admins on the public servers and vice versa. Finally, the server will require a password for teams to join which would be shared in the clan members private section of the forum and discord and would be changed periodically. Good night. I am here to highlight a concern that I have raised time and time again on multiple occasions on the promod server while multiple admins were present. Firstly, apparently when an admin insults you,you're supposed to just shut up and take it because for the longest while zaya has abused his rights as admin and muted me for without warning and for no reason! Also, apparently it is okay for the professional players to camp and bind while admins look the other direction but when us regular guys do it by accident it is so quickly struck down and ur kicked. I know very well all of you will read this and laugh at me for voicing my concerns but so be it! The Evolution Warefare has highly biased,ignorant,self centered, belligerent, unfair and blind admins... their are some persons who in my opinion actually deserve their title as admin... chuck,gilly, ten, south and wolfy! Everyone else needs to be reviewed and checked for wrong doings and admin abuse! I am simply tired of it! It's okay if jm taken for a joke as usual but remember their will be new ppl coming to ur servers every day! I dont think these admins understand the gravity of their roles!

Ergonomics for the PC Gamer Ergonomics is a study of how well we humans fit into the various environments that we work/game in. There is a science to altering your gaming environment to minimize stress on your body, and while there are really detailed scientific explanations I can provide, I’d rather provide you guys with simple tips and ways to manage each component of your gaming setups For gamers, there are 3 essential components within the eSports environment. 1: Display Monitor Height and Tilt Recommendation: When you are sitting upright, your eyes (horizontal eye level) should meet slightly above or at the upper 1/4th of the monitor. If possible, the monitor should also be slightly tilted back. This adjustment is to ensure that you are limiting movement of your neck to look at the various things on your monitor, but more specifically, that you’re not using your upper neck to looking up. Our eyes direct neck movement and thus by setting up your monitor slightly below the horizontal eye level with a slight backwards tilt, you are limiting the need to use your neck to look up. Optimal viewing angles have been shown to be between 20-50 degrees from various studies. The placement of the monitor as suggested allows the most active areas of the monitor to be least visually straining. If it is too high, we often find ourselves gaming with our with a slight upward tilt of our neck. Monitors set too low will often cause the dreaded forward head posture. Monitor Distance Recommendation: 1-arm’s length away ± the length of your hand. While there is an extensive amount of research and suggestions regarding how far the monitor should be placed from your eyes, I want to give you guys a practical way to set up the distance of your monitor. Monitor Distance is 1-Arm’s Length ± Length of your hand One thing we have to realize with regards to this is that everyone is different. Our eyes have the ability to both accommodate (changing the shape of the lens within the eye to focus on objects at various distances) and converge (looking inwards toward the nose with closer objects). It has been shown that convergence contributes more to eye strain, meaning that in GENERAL, farther is better. Obviously a distance where you can barely see characters or details on the screen is not recommended, but we should have a minimum distance that the monitor is set This is how the 1-arm rule became popular, it gave us a quick way to avoid overconvergence. I agree with the use of this and want to use it as a baseline for how far you should place your monitor. The 1-arm rule states that you place your monitor 1 arms length extended in front of you (in an upright seated position). A nice caveat to add to this is that you place it should start at that DISTANCE. Everyone's eyes are different. The lenses work unique to us and thus we accommodate and converge better at specific distances. So.. It’s important for us to Adjust it based on your own comfort after it is already 1-arm’s length away. The monitor should be 1-arm’s length away +/- the length of your hand. Move it within that range to your comfort. From there, you can adjust your in-game, windows/mac resolution to improve visibility and readability, respectively. 2: Peripherals Keyboard Ah our prized LED mechanical keyboards with the customized WASD keys. Peripherals always seem to be a big topic of conversation when it comes down to ergonomics, reasonably so as they are the main tools we utilize to game! And while I believe considering ergonomics for both our keyboards and the mouse is important, it truly comes down to preference and understanding the tradeoff. There is a performance tradeoff that should be considered when discussing ergonomics and in the end, it is how we position ourselves with both the keyboard and the mouse. Again when considering ergonomics of our peripherals, it is crucial to understand that it is the position the tool is placing us in. Ergonomic Keyboards place our wrists in a neutral position (the position in which there is the least amount of stress at the joints and supporting tissues) however are known to have slower response times and less durability. Neutral Positioning/Palm Grip of the Wrist (Left), Extended position/Claw Grip of the Wrist (Right). Modifying your own positioning to the neutral grip is ideal, however behavior should be considered more important than position. Response times are crucial in eSports performance and thus there is the preference for the straight mechanical keyboard, which typically places our wrist in extension (slightly bent towards the ceiling). Increased wrist extension leads to reduced time to fatigue (higher risk of repetitive strain injury) due to poor mechanical advantage. Again, this is where it positions us, but we can modify our own wrist and hand positions to maintain the neutral positioning and thus achieve the same effect an ergonomic keyboard provides. Thus the performance tradeoff for use of an ergonomic keyboard is reduced risk for injury for the slower response times. As mentioned above however, you can nullify this tradeoff by understanding neutral positioning and modifying your position to achieve it. Grip Types in order of Highest to Lowest Physical Stress on Forearm and Hand Musculature What about for the different types of mice out there? It is the same story. Different mice often lead to different types of grip which can also vary the amount of physical stress on your hands, wrists, forearms (listed in highest to lowest risk of injury): Claw Fingertip Palm Each of these are provide different benefits in terms of performance (Koosta from CLG utilizes the claw grip from his history with playing AVA allowing him to click very quickly) however have the tradeoff of risking increased physical stress. You can again modify your wrist position to minimize the tradeoff. The difference in physical stress at your hands/wrists/forearms is minimal and more dependent on the demands of your game (500 APMs vs 100 APMs) or how long you play that is the major risk for injury The bottom line is that your wrist positioning along with your behavior (how long you are playing) is more important than the type of keyboard or mouse you choose. So just pick one you are comfortable with and take the time to understand proper posture (which I will elaborate more on in part 2) 3: Body Support Chair Backrest Angle Recommendation: Angled between 90-120 degrees, with a lumbar support conforming to the NATURAL curvature of your lower back. START AT 90, modify the reclining angle up to your comfort This means that you need to be able to find your neutral spine position and then find a lumbar support or back-rest that adequately conforms to that. The height of the back-rest ideally includes a neck support, although it is not necessary. This is one of the most common concerns when it comes to ergonomics of the chair and is often poorly understood. There is a landmark study that was performed by Wilke et. al 1999 which reported that the intradiscal pressure is the lowest in a slightly reclined position (see the image). While this is an important understanding, it does not provide a complete picture about the stresses on the other tissues surrounding the spine. This study has led to the idea that reclined is better than the standard upright position, which I believe misses the point and is a misinformed recommendation. Intradiscal pressure is the lowest when the muscles supporting the spine have the LEAST amount of activity. This is usually dictated by the position of the lumbopelvic complex. This may have contributed to the reason why the reclined position demonstrated such low intradiscal pressures – as it moved the lumbopelvic complex into a position that relaxes the low back musculature, thus reducing pressure. So, it is more important to first find your neutral spine position and relax your lower back musculature than it is to adjust the reclining angle of the chair. This is why I make the suggestion above to start at 90, then move toward 120 as you see fit. Chair Height Recommendation: Height at which the HIPS and KNEES to be roughly the same level AND for the feet to be supported (flat on the floor or on a footrest). Setting your chair up for your thigh to be parallel to the ground reduces excessive pressure under the thigh that may prevent blood flow. When they are not at the same level, the position of the lower back and pelvis are typically affected. If the knee is higher, the lower back becomes too rounded and if the hip is higher, the lower back becomes too arched. Lack of foot support can also place undue pressure on the back side of the lower thigh, again cutting off blood flow. Foot rests are usually needed with tables that are too high and aren’t adjustable. Arm Rests and Seat Cushion Recommendation: Shoulders should be relaxed and elbows comfortably supported on the arm rests. It should allow your shoulders to relax. It should not prevent you from scooting forward to the front of the desk. Cushion is recommended, especially one that can reduce pressure on your butt bones. Working while sitting with the arms supported reduces strain to the body – specifically the shoulder. In some studies it has also shown to reduce keying forces during typing (affecting your elbow and wrist position). If the armrests are too high, it will push your shoulders in a shrugged position and can create a higher risk of neck stiffness along with shoulder repetitive strain. Proper cushioning, especially with relief at the ischium (butt bones) has been shown to reduced spinal load. This is a much less emphasized portion of ergonomics as the backrest, lumbar support and chair-height affect the position of the lumbopelvic complex more significantly Desks What about desks…? Corner Desk or straight desk? Does it matter? Recommendation: The only things one has to consider with your choice of a desk is that your choice allows for the other components of your ergonomics to be properly managed. It should provide enough space to allow you to maintain the 1-arm rule for monitor distance. The desk depth and height creates space for your knees to scoot close to the desk and allows your knees to comfortably rest on the floor/footrest, respectively. The height may not be adjustable at all times but it is again important to allow your shoulders to be relaxed so you aren’t at risk for rotator cuff overuse. TL:DR, The Bottom Line Ergonomics is about placing us in optimal positions so that our muscles have to work the least. In eSports, we must consider three main categories: Display, Peripherals and Body Support. The monitor should be placed so your eyes meet the upper 1/4th of the monitor and is 1-arm’s length away ± 1 hand’s length. The monitor should also be slightly backwards tilted. Peripherals are truly up to preference as there is a performance trade-off in favor of performance. The increased stress on your hands is less affected by how your peripherals position you but more how you position your forearm/wrist/hand when utilizing them. The backrest should be between 90-120 degrees reclined for your chair with your forearms parallel to the floor (with the arm rest or on the table). The chair should also be set up at the height in which your knees are level with your hips and your feet can contact the ground (or foot rest). Lastly, the desk you choose should be able to incorporate these recommendations. You deserved to be banned because as an admin you should know fully well that having the advantages to see through smoke and flash is consider unfair and cheating. If people get banned for custom character skins Isn't seeing through smokes and flashes 10 times worst???? For a grown man you make no sense whats or ever. If someone is cheating in the server you're quick to ban no excuses because they were cheating. Its fair that you got what other players got for cheating. If you don't think NO SMOKE and NO FLASH isn't cheating then you don't deserve to be admin. If you're a senior player you should have COMMON sense to know right from wrong. Also you saw no binds / scripts allowed which means fast fire binds, learn to use your finger to click. I'm glad you got banned because for an admin you don't possess any common sense for a *Mature Adult*. Cheats are cheats, if found using it in our servers it will be instant termination and all powers will be stripped off. Further more I'm glad you admitted to being unfair to other members using those *cheats*. If you're working in a company and you steal from them basically you will get fired and most likely not get the opportunity to reapply. What proof is needed? Anytime i am in the server playing, either him or his brother always be trash talking about someone for using any weapon beside sniper. It public promod, anyone can use what they want. Maybe if @AAAAAkAAAAA be more active in server and see what he and his brother be saying, he wouldn't need to see proof of any of the comments @Jon Snow made. And even if they collect a ban from an admin i wouldn't even bother to ask why or what was the reason. Let them go to the forums and request unban. I'll debate with they mc from there. -Chief
